When Will I Receive My Fall-Planted Bulbs?

The best time to plant fall bulbs is when the soil temperature has cooled to 55 degrees F. In most parts of the continental U.S., this does not occur until late September or early October. We time our bulb shipments by growing zone, which helps ensure that you receive your bulbs at the right time for planting. Shipping by zone begins on the following dates:

• Zones 3-5: Shipping begins Sept. 22
• Zone 6: Shipping begins Oct. 6
• Zone 7: Shipping begins Oct. 20
• Zones 8-10: Shipping begins Oct. 27

Please note that if we have already started delivering to your planting zone by the time you place your order, please allow 1-3 weeks for your order to arrive.

Delivery Method

Your order will be delivered by FedEx, so be sure to give us a physical street address for your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses or to AK, HI, PR, or VI or Post Office Boxes. Expedited delivery is not available.

Processing & Delivery Charges

We cover the cost of ocean freight, insurance, and import duties. You pay only inland shipping to your home. The rate is determined by your order total as shown in the chart below.

If you are shipping items to more than one address, there is a $5.00 charge for each additional address. Sales tax is charged on orders shipped to Vermont (7%) and Illinois (6.25%).
