Though we offer many customer favorites that have stood the test of time, such as the Thomas Edison Dahlia, we also offer many excellent new and improved varieties that are superior garden performers. For spring 2008, we are introducing more than 75 exciting new cultivars, including heat-tolerant Georgia Peach and Tiramisu Coral Bells (heuchera), an improved delphinium from New Zealand, three beautiful new hydrangeas, and a fragrant Double Oriental Lily Mixture. All of the new varieties are featured in New for 2008.

Dutch Gardens ships top-quality, topsize bulbs and plants—the very best you can buy. In the photo, at left, the large dahlia clump is from Dutch Gardens. The one next to it was purchased at a local garden center. In our test gardens, the larger clump began blooming in early August, and over a seven-week period it produced two dozen beautiful dinnerplate dahlias, measuring 12 inches across. The clump on the left started blooming in late August, and produced a total of six, 6-inch flowers.

For 2008, We've also upgraded our potted perennials from 3" pots to big, 4" pots. These extra-large plants with well-developed root systems will get off to a faster and healthier start in your garden.
