Callas
Add a tropical flair to your garden, containers and cut-flower displays with calla lilies. These tender bulbs are easier to grow than you might think. Like other bulbs, they grow best in well-drained soil. They can be grown in full sun to partial shade. Often called the wedding flower, calla lilies have elegant, funnel-shaped blooms that look impressive in bouquets and the garden. They're available in a range of flower colors, and they usually bloom from early to midsummer. Calla lilies are not hardy, and the bulbs must be lifted in the fall. The bulbs can also be grown in containers and brought indoors when the weather cools.
