Discovered in Olympia Washington by biologist Denny McGaughy, this remarkable fig thrives in cool, wet climates and produces very tasty and nutritious tangerine sized fruit in the summer that has thin purple skin and red flesh. Bears early in its life. Makes a good container plant for very cold areas.
